Reflexology

Reflexology

Reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary therapy which works on the basis that different reflex points found in the feet correspond to an area in the body.   Specific hand and finger techniques on these points are used to apply pressure to the feet and lower leg.    The feet can be thought of as mirroring the body and so the organs and glands etc can be mapped onto the feet.  The left foot mirrors the left side of the body and the right foot reflects the right side of the body.

Reflexology acknowledges that every person is a unique individual; it is not possible to know in advance how you will react to a treatment.  However, after a treatment, people often do feel very relaxed, may sleep better and notice a feeling of improved mood and general well being. We use a silky smooth reflexology balm, created by Sally Kay, as a medium for the treatment and include a light massage over the lower legs finishing with hot towels, followed by a mandarin, peppermint and yogurt foot/leg lotion.

We ask that you wear loose clothing to allow us to treat the lower legs.  Some clients bring pyjama  bottoms to wear, finding them very comfortable.

To start your treatment, as a treat from us, there is an option of a foot spa with peppermint or mango with citrus foot soak.

Your treatment – 1 hour – £30

Why not enhance your reflexology treatment and indulge in the warmth and comfort of hot stones or warm bamboo, with warm aromatherapy oils blended especially for you.

1 hour treatment – £35

HAND  REFLEXOLOGY – this is a wonderful treatment as an alternative to the feet and may  be combined with other therapies.
